October 2008 - Charge Card Systems Receives 2008 'Best of Boca Raton' Award
August 2008 – CCS moves into its new 10,000 square foot corporate headquarters in Boca Raton, FL.
November 2007 – CCS opens a regional office in Rhode Island to service merchants in this territory.
April 2007 – Jeffrey Shavitz, one of founders of Charge Card Systems named to the Advisory Board of The Green Sheet, the leading trade journal in the payments industry.
January 2007 – Charge Card Systems starts a dba division called CCS Cash to focus on the cash advance business.
November 2006 – Adam Moss, CCS Regional Vice President is promoted to National Sales Manager and relocates to the corporate headquarters.

June 2006 – Charge Card Systems named to Advisory Board for Pay By Touch, a processor involved in teh biometric authentication of the payment processing industry.
July 2005 - CCS involved in the development of its strategic partner, Alternative Merchant Processing Inc. which works with hard-to-place merchants. AMP develops six (6) worldwide banking relationships.
June 2004 - Franchise Merchant Services, the dba is formed to service the franchise/franchisor marketplace.
April 2003 - CCS Medical, the dba formed to service the healthcare market including hospitals, medical practices and medical associations throughout the country.
February 2002 - CCS officially opened it New York Metropolitan Office in Englewood, NJ servicing the tri-state area.
September 2001 - CCS founders, father and son Bernard and Jeffrey Shavitz and friend Anthony Andreozzi started CCS. They were introduced to the payments industry, initially through Anthony who was a founding member and Board Member of a 66 branch bank, First United Bank. Bernard Shavitz spent more than 20 years as the CEO of Majestic Industries, the most automated national manufacturer of office products for Fortune 500 companies; and Jeffrey Shavitz was initially an investment banker in Mergers & Acquisitions at Lehman Brother and later founded Mericom Marketing Inc, a promotional marketing company. All 3 sold their businesses prior to forming CCS.
